Need to report an issue that isn’t covered by our public health programs? These other agencies may be able to assist you.

Grocery/Convenience Stores – In Georgia, all food in grocery and convenience stores is regulated by the Georgia Department of Agriculture.
Nail/Hair Salons – The Secretary of State Board of Cosmetology regulates nail and hair salons in Georgia.
Overgrown Yards – Concerns about overgrown yards and yard debris are typically handled by the Code Enforcement office in your city or county government.
Mold/Indoor Air Quality – We get many calls about mold, but there are no federal or state standards or regulations for Indoor Air Quality. If you have mold concerns, more information is available on the Georgia Dept. of Public Health website.
Scrap Tires – Georgia Environmental Protection Division
Daycares – Bright From the Start is the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning and regulates child care centers, Pre-K, Head Start and more.
Stray Animals – Our Environmental Health services include rabies control, but for general stray animal concerns, contact your city or county animal control office.
Wild Animals – The Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Resources Division is charged with conserving, enhancing and promoting game and non-game animals, fish and protected plants.
