Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC)

What is LARC?

Long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) provide long-term birth control. LARCs include intrauterine devices (IUD) and contraceptive implants.  LARCs are very effective at preventing pregnancy and can be removed at any time.

Cost

We believe everyone should have access to family planning services, including birth control, that meet both their lifestyle and budgetary needs. Our goal is to provide family planning services at the lowest cost possible.

Family planning services – including LARCs and other forms of birth control –  are free for teens 18 and under and provided at low cost for those ages 19 and older without insurance.

Clients 18 and older with no insurance must provide verification of income (W-2 form, current tax return, current paycheck and/or paycheck stubs for one month, unemployment/Dept. of Labor compensation notice or check stub, notarized statement of income from employer on letterhead, WIC or SNAP approval letter including family size and income) so that we can determine fair and affordable fees for services provided.
