Brian Uhlig
Age - 16
School - Richmond Hill High School

Extra-curricular Activities - Skateboarding, ping pong, billiards, video games, hanging out at the Jacob Grant Teen Center in Richmond Hill.
Who is your most influential role model & why? - My Dad... he knows what's the best! He's pretty good at ping pong too.
What is your ultimate goal in life? - To pursue a career as a professional skateboarder.
What are you most proud of? - My family, my friends & my skateboard.

In addition to his skateboarding skills, what sets Brian apart from other teens is his desire to help others be the best they can be. At the skate park, he will encourage other skaters to improve existing skills or try new tricks. If one of his fellow skaters does not show up, he is known for his follow-up calls to check & see how he or she is doing.

Heather Walker, Youth Advisor for the Teen Center, says "We decided on Brian for the Teen Spotlight because he works on being excellent at everything he does. He helps younger students with their homework after school and then goes to the skate park. He works for hours on improving his skating skills... we believe that Brian is really going to have a career in and positive influence on the skater world."

His skating videos have actually made it onto YouTube! Check him out!
