About the Coastal Health District
The Coastal Health District serves Bryan, Camden, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, Long and McIntosh counties in the state of Georgia. Its mission is to assure conditions in which people can be healthy and to provide leadership in the prevention of disease and injury.

The Coastal Health District wants all school-aged children to be healthy and ready to learn. That’s why we are working with our area schools to promote a coordinated school health program that consists of:

·Health promotion for staff
·Health services
·Healthful school environment
·Nutrition service
·Physical education
