Asthma and the Classroom
Asthma is a leading chronic illness among children and youth in the United States. On average, in a classroom of 30 children, about three are likely to have asthma. Asthma is also one of the leading causes of absenteeism among children. Make sure your asthmatic students have an Asthma Action Plan. Click here to download the Asthma Action Plan file.
