What is Children's Special Services (CSS)?
Without help early in life, children with special needs can fall behind their peers. Children's Special Services oversees a variety of programs designed to identify and address needs early in life so that children can grow to reach their maximum potential.

Referrals
To make a referral to any of the Children's Special Services programs, you may call 912-356-2914 or 1-866-647-0010, or stop by our offices located at 24 Oglethorpe Professional Blvd. in Savannah, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Anyone can refer children to our programs including physicians, teachers, counselors, parents, relatives, health department staff, health care workers, or community agencies, by filling out a Children's 1st referral form. Click here to download a referral form.
