News: McIntosh Co. Health Department to Host Diabetes Workshop

MCINTOSH CO., GA - The McIntosh County Health Department will hold a diabetes wellness workshop from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, at the Community Senior Center on Hwy. 57 in Eulonia. Both diabetics and those interested in learning more about diabetes are invited to attend the free event.
The workshop will be conducted by Coastal Health District registered dietitian, Pat Mobley, R.D., L.D., CDE. Mobley has had extensive training in teaching diabetes wellness courses. The workshop is the brainchild of McIntosh County Commissioner Nathaniel Grovner and is being held in conjunction with the McIntosh County Health Department. Light refreshments will be served.
