McIntosh: Let's Dance, McIntosh!

The Coastal Health District, the Department of Health & Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health & Wellcare are co-sponsoring “Let’s Dance, McIntosh!" The event is intended to encourage dancing as a legitimate form of exercise and to teach people about the importance of cardiovascular health.

The event is Saturday, July 19th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Preferred Outlets, next to the Reebok Store. The celebration will feature dance instruction, along with blood pressure screenings, information on the signs and symptoms of stroke and heart attack, healthy snacks, Body Mass Index Measurements, and a blood drive through the Blood Alliance. Visitors will also receive details about dance opportunities through their county's network of dance organizations.
